A Prairie girl from birth, Chris Gaucher currently lives in Victoria, BC and  holds degrees in both psychology and dentistry. Chris started writing this book when her son was 11 to find a way to educate him about the often confusing world of boy/girl relationships. Along the way she decided she would try to reach a wider audience.

This is one of her favorite paintings as it represents a balancing act much like parenting.  It is sometimes tricky to know what to say to a young adolescent.  How much information is too much information?  How much of yourself do you reveal?  What's the worst that can happen?  Splat! You fall off your ball.  But don't worry... there's always tomorrow.
